Those old days wedding shower
Published January 5, 2010 | The fourth day of the week started with a special incident which was a surprise to me. Actually, this was not a planned marriage. Two of my closest friends decided to marry suddenly. Basically they were working on a development tool called as Web Dynpro for ABAP. The advantage of this tool is the use of declarative and graphical tools significantly reduces the implementation effort and full integration in the reliable ABAP development environment. Both my friends came close to each other while working on one project using this tool. One night they got involved so deeply in their work that they dint realized that they exchanged the engagement rings into their fingers. In the morning, they understood the fact and did not want to stop any more. One of bride’s friends was planning about unique wedding favors since so many days.
I was in the office and my wife called me my mobile sharing the good news. The ceremony was planned in the evening. My wife left the home early in the afternoon to attend the wedding shower event along with some other friends. I did not have any special idea of gift in my mind, so I just got a bouquet for the couple and appeared in front of them with all my blessings.
Partly Functional Weathervanes
Published January 5, 2010 | A weather vane is an instrument generally used to depict the direction of the wind. It`s natural for people to think that it might be a useful instrument but that`s about it. They don`t foresee its usefulness otherwise. To their surprise, a weather vane can be used as a great way to enhance the over-all look & feel of one`s house. In fact weathervanes are widely prevalent in some countries. These sort of weathervanes are only partly functional….no prize for guessing as to why that is! The main purpose of installing those instruments are to give a different look to the house & believe me it will look quite good if done properly. It all basically depends on the kind of house that you have got. For instance, my house has got like four pillars, two those pillars are in the front & the rest in the back. What I did was to install four small weathervanes on each of them. It not only looks great when there`s some wind but also when there`s none! Apart from that, now my place looks totally different, much better than the earlier look which was more close to the kind of row houses that you come across, day-in & day-out.
