The fourth day of the week started with a special incident which was a surprise to me. Actually, this was not a planned marriage. Two of my closest friends decided to marry suddenly. Basically they were working on a development tool called as Web Dynpro for ABAP. The advantage of this tool is the use of declarative and graphical tools significantly reduces the implementation effort and full integration in the reliable ABAP development environment. Both my friends came close to each other while working on one project using this tool. One night they got involved so deeply in their work that they dint realized that they exchanged the engagement rings into their fingers. In the morning, they understood the fact and did not want to stop any more. One of bride’s friends was planning about unique wedding favors since so many days.

I was in the office and my wife called me my mobile sharing the good news. The ceremony was planned in the evening. My wife left the home early in the afternoon to attend the wedding shower event along with some other friends. I did not have any special idea of gift in my mind, so I just got a bouquet for the couple and appeared in front of them with all my blessings.

Too much Clutter

My cousin collects all sorts of things. I went to visit her the other day and I have not been to her house for ages. I could not believe what a collection of things she had. On her fireplace was a selection of Wizard of Oz collectibles and they did look really good. Unfortunately they were lost with all of the other ornaments she had. In her display cabinet she showed me her precious Beatrix Potter figurines but again they were lost among all of the other clutter. I am sure that some of things she has are extremely valuable and she looks after them really well, somehow finding the time to keep everything really neat and tidy, clean and dust free. I do wonder though, whether once she, passes away, if all the things will just be thrown away as some of the items do look cheap and nasty and she picked them up at Charity shops. She proudly showed me her latest find and then explained that she was going to be treating herself to some Nightmare before Christmas collectibles soon and was just trying to decide where to put them. I am sure she enjoys all of her things, she must do or else she would not go to all that effort of cleaning them all of the time. My house is a vast contrast with me having nothing on any surface except perhaps a lamp or clock. I think seeing her house had made me even less inclined to want to get any clutter.
